Updates: February 2023 VDM and WebReports

In this post we cover the latest versions available for WebReports and VDM and some of the key features / tasks that were completed in the February updates.

Key Updates:

Bug Fixes

  • Addressed a challenge where the DTP parameter does not let you click Finish without selecting a value, even if it is not set as Required.

  • Fixed Single Summary VoV erroring out when connected to InterProse ACE connections.

  • Addressed a challenge where No Data No Export reports were sending emails with empty file attachments.

  • Addressed a challenge where when saving a Finished Report that has a sub report that is not open, the sub report would get renamed to XtraReport and loses everything inside.

Implemented Tasks / Features

  • VDM now supports embedding the Finished Report directly into the email body using the Scheduler.

  • The Update Filter / Group button has been enabled for InterProse ACE connections.

  • Interprose ACE connections now support the use of CSG (Client-Side Grouping).

  • The Open Dialogue button in the parameter selection has been adjusted to not get cut off the screen at different zoom levels.

Key Updates:

Bug Fixes

  • Addressed issue where MDS did not work with MySQL. MDS queries on MySQL were using a SQL connection type.

  • Fixed the issue when creating new users on AD integrated WebReports implementations and the Roles were not applied properly.

Implemented Tasks / Features

  • The Invite Domain User button has been removed.

  • Additional logging information was added.

  • Improvements were made to the compression process in WebReports resulting in better compression / performance rates.
