WebReports 2026.07.01: Simpler Scheduling, Better Reliability, and Improved Notifications

The latest WebReports release focuses on improving everyday usability and reliability. Version 2026.07.01 introduces a cleaner scheduling experience, resolves several issues affecting report execution, and improves notification delivery so users receive updates when their reports complete.

A Simpler Scheduling Experience

Scheduling reports is now more intuitive with the removal of the unsupported All-Day scheduling option. Since this feature was not fully supported, it could create confusion when scheduling reports—particularly for single-day jobs. By removing the option, the scheduling interface is now cleaner and focused on the scheduling features that WebReports fully supports.

More Reliable Report Execution

This release also addresses several issues that improve overall report stability.

Views containing empty sort fields will now execute correctly without failing. WebReports automatically ignores blank sort entries, allowing reports to run successfully whether they are displayed in the Data Grid, Summary Grid, Finished Reports, or Visualize.

Support for MySQL has also been updated for the .NET 10 platform. Improvements to the MySQL Entity Framework provider and connection handling ensure MySQL-based reporting and API workflows continue to operate reliably while maintaining compatibility with existing SQL Server environments.

Notifications Sent to the Right User

Report completion notifications now go directly to the user who requested the report. Previously, notifications could be sent to a broader administrator group in certain situations. With this update, users who queue, download, or rerun reports will receive their own completion notifications, making it easier to track report status without unnecessary emails being sent to administrators.

Cleaner Repeat Scheduling

The scheduling interface has also been refined by improving how repeat options are displayed. When the Repeat option is disabled, all recurrence settings are now automatically hidden. This provides a cleaner interface and makes it immediately clear whether a scheduled job is configured to repeat.

Update Today

WebReports 2026.07.01 continues to improve the platform with a more streamlined scheduling experience, enhanced reliability, and better notification handling. As always, we recommend installing and testing the update in a non-production environment before deploying it to production.
