BridgeWorks has released WebReports Version 2026.09.10, bringing improvements to reporting workflows, WebReports Extensions, and application reliability.

This release continues to expand the capabilities introduced in recent WebReports updates while addressing issues identified through testing and customer use.

Improved Statistics Activity Sorting

The WebReports Statistics page provides administrators with insight into report activity and system usage.

Version 2026.09.10 addresses an issue with the Duration column on the Activity tab, improving the ability to review and organize report activity information.

WebReports Extensions

This release also includes continued development of WebReports Extensions.

Extensions provide a framework for delivering customer-specific functionality separately from the standard WebReports application. Administrators can manage available extensions, configuration settings, connection bindings, user permissions, updates, and runtime status directly within WebReports.

This approach allows BridgeWorks to provide specialized functionality while keeping the core WebReports installation easier to maintain and update.

Improved Startup Reliability

Version 2026.09.10 resolves an issue that could cause WebReports to display a 500.30 startup error after upgrading from Version 2026.9.9.0.

The fix improves application startup reliability for environments affected by the issue.

Before You Upgrade

As with all WebReports releases, BridgeWorks recommends testing the update in a non-production environment before deploying it to production.

WebReports also requires the ASP.NET Core Runtime 10 Hosting Bundle on the server hosting the application.
