This week I would like to give a tip that covers something everyone in VDM does but may not be aware of.
Have you ever wondered if the changes you made were saved? Do you ever click the save button multiple times just to ensure you saved the changes?
There is an indicator in VDM for when you have unsaved changes. This indicated by an asterisk ( * ) at the end of the current control's name (View, Job, etc.).
Below are two images showing the difference of a View with unsaved changes versus saved changes.
