This week I want to focus on the scheduler. This is something that has become more and more desirable for people that are using the scheduler as this can save massive amounts of time in the long run.
The ability to mass edit executions in your job can be done be holding down control and clicking on each execution (this method will select each execution individually). You can also select the first execution and then hold down the shift key and select another execution (this method selects all of the executions from the first one to the second one).
Why is this useful for editing executions? Maybe you want to change what is being exported on multiple executions, or where the data is being exported. Normally you would have to update each execution separately. This method allows you to make one change on every execution.
Steps To Mass Edit Executions
1. Open your job in the scheduler.
2. Select each execution you wish to make the change to using one of the methods above.
3. Make the changes using the properties on the right. The changes will be applied to each selected execution
